Little reminder of love

[Dog and Cat Health] Don’t panic if there is a sudden spasm!
The cat’s body is sometimes stiff and sometimes trembling, not out of its own will.
This symptom is called "spasticity" and occurs when there is a disorder in the lobe of the brain that controls muscle movement.
-
There are many causes of spasms, such as epilepsy, encephalitis, heart disease, hypoglycemia, ingestion of poisons, etc.
When a cat has convulsions, there will be some precursors, such as
1. Spasms with strange whining sounds
2. Lips tremble constantly
3. Foaming at the mouth
4. Urinary incontinence
5. Then began intense spasms that lasted for several minutes.
Spasms caused by epileptic seizures are often seen in cats. There are usually precursors before the seizure, mainly in the head and feet. When the spasm caused by an epileptic seizure becomes severe, please clean up the surrounding things and build a protective wall with cushions and other items to ensure that the fur baby will not be injured. Then wait patiently. After the attack, if there is any swelling on the lips, If you have foam or drooling, please let it go gently.

Observe these points first before going to a veterinarian
A. Are there any precursors before the onset of spasm?
B. Is there still consciousness during the convulsive attack?
C. Are there any wounds besides the head?
D. Does the smell of urine come from the mouth?
E. Is your whole body cramping? Or is it just a spasm in one part of the body?
F. Is there diarrhea or vomiting?
When the spasm subsides, please dim the lights in the room and wrap the body with cotton or towel to create a quiet resting environment for the cat. Then contact the veterinarian immediately
